1. What is Corn Composite?

Corn Composite is a special resin made of approximately 70% cornstarch and 30% plastic.

2. Why Corn Composite?

Plastics have taken over the world because they are inexpensive, sturdy, and can be made with any property- stretchy, flexible, rigid, foamed, etc.  Green disposables cannot compete with plastics in this respect; they are constrained to their natural properties.  Corn Composite greatly reduces the amount of plastic in a single disposable, while maintaining many of the properties we need.  These items are resilient, water resistant and heat resistant, while maintaining the ability to biodegrade.  However, since 30% is comprised of plastic, we do not label this product as compostable.
